Image of the Day – May 9, 2010 – Bang-Zoom
Well, I know it is Mother’s Day, but today’s image has nothing to do with that.
On this day in 1971 one of my favorite shows of all-time aired its final episode. Odd some times how TV works. I wasn’t born until October of that year, yet one of my favorite shows ended months before then.
Here is today’s Image of the Day…
Many of you will recognize that image from the opening scene of The Honeymooners. Their last original episode aired on May, 9 1971. I miss it being on EVERY night. I used to stay up and watch it growing up, even though it was on at 11 and/or 11:30 each night on WPIX 11.
One of the main reasons I used this as today’s image was because I want to introduce something new on the Image of the Day Blog… The Video of the Day! Please note there WILL NOT be a Video of the Day every day.
